Just another example of the state being unable to uphold it’s own laws. The Data protection Act should cover this sort of thing and no amount of new acts of parliament can erradicate the abuse of personal information.

its wrong, that medical receptionist should have been sacked INSTANTLY…. any husband would know his wifes date of birth off the top of his head he wuldn’t have to check and ring back, common sense!!
I’ve always said i’ll tell my doctor anything because there bound by the hippocratic oath and that there one of the few people that need to know stuff about me… that film changed my way of thinking alot

Well they didn’t sack the receptionist….
And I have to admit, I’m TERRIBLE at remembering dates and have, in the past, forgotten my wife’s d.o.b…..
Hope we’ve not ruined your relationship with your doc.

no to be honest if my doc needs to know something then i’ll tell him, thats for my own sake
your film definitely opened my eyes though, theres stuff happening thats just plain wrong and the public need to stand up and tell the government to wind there necks in before its too late. Schools that make students give there fingerprints and stuff like that, its sick! Would never let anyone do that to my kids

Very interesting! I am still waiting for a reply from someone in a council to explain their knowledge of our registration with a GP then contacted other government bodies about it who were forward enough to ask me about it as if I owe them. I’ve spoken to a dozen GPs about patient-confidentiality; all confirmed the same thing as the doctor in the documentary. The GP in question is looking forward to their answers too.
