Are the Stormcloaks against elves?
They most certainly hate the thalmor (who doesn’t) and they refer to the Thalmor as, “the elves” and they sometimes say “those witch elves” or derogatory terms like that, but remember they DO NOT hate every elf in skyrim.
Are Imperials or Stormcloaks better?
Pick Imperial if you want to play a character who is originally from a place aside from Skyrim, as it doesn’t make sense to fight under a banner that ultimately won’t accept you. Pick Stormcloak if you believe the Empire has no right to say what Skyrim denizens can and can’t do, especially if you are a Nord.
Why are Stormcloaks rebelling?
The Stormcloaks believe Skyrim should secede from what they feel is a corrupt crumbling Empire. This stance came about due to the aftermath of the Great War and the imposition of the White-Gold Concordat by the Aldmeri Dominion.
Does it matter who kills Ulfric?
If you choose to kill Ulfric, Tullius will hand you a leveled enchanted sword for the task, though you don’t need to use the sword to kill Ulfric. If you choose to let the general kill Ulfric he will still give you the sword afterwards.
Do Nords hate dark elves?
Not all nords hate the Dunmer. Those who do simply see the Dunmer as nothing more than “filth” and immigrants. Some even think they are spies in cities or simply unwanted dwellers. This has grown to be mainly in Windhelm, but happens with races all across Tamriel.
Can you be neutral in Skyrim?
Yes, it is possible. The main quest is not completely independent of the war, but it does not require your character to take any action to support or oppose either side in it. You won’t need any advice or hints as to how to avoid taking a side; the game will tell you what you need to know when you get there.
