How does Rush work at USC?
Fraternity Rush at USC is managed by the Interfraternity Council (IFC). It’s a structured process that occurs over a 10 day period. Rush is designed for you to meet different fraternities and fraternity members and for them to meet you. You need to register to participate in Rush and can do so here at the IFC website.
Does USC do fall or spring rush?

What do you wear to a fraternity rush?
I would suggest going with some nice khaki shorts, and a well-fitting t-shirt or polo. Make sure your hair isn’t a mess, and please shave off the scraggly goatee. If you can pull off a beard, go for it, but if it’s “not quite there yet”, I would recommend going clean shaven.

How do frats decide bids?
After all three rushes have taken place, each group discusses which students would be a positive addition to the group. Usually, this is a tedious process and takes many hours. When a group decides which new members they would like to join their organization, they give them a “bid,” which is an offer to join.
How long is the rushing process?
The process includes a number of rounds that usually last around 5 days, with one round per day. Rush occurs at different times of years depending on the university it usually happens in early fall, mid January, and/or spring. There are different themes for each round, including philanthropy and skits.
