What is Demeyere cookware made of?
Demeyere: 3.7mm of aluminum on the Proline and other fully clad Atlantis pieces. Bottom-clad pieces have a 7mm base, with a 2mm layer of copper plus aluminum and silver. Industry 5 contains 2mm of aluminum.
How do you clean Demeyere pans?
Clean the pot or pan with water, washing-up liquid, and a soft sponge, brush, or cloth. Never use abrasives, steel wool, or bleaches. We strongly recommend washing by hand.

Is Demeyere 5 plus same as industry?
There is no difference between any of these product lines except that the handles are slightly different (Industry5 has rough, squarish handles; Sensation has rough, rounder handles; and 5 Plus has smooth, rounder handles). All of the handles are basically the same in terms of functionality.
Can you put Demeyere in the oven?

How do you care for a Demeyere pan?
Rinse well. Never use bleach, abrasives or steel wool to clean Demeyere products. Before first cooking use, we advise to heat up the pan using a low heat with a few tablespoons of deep frying oil (For one or two minutes, shorter for induction) and make sure the oil does not overheat.
Can Demeyere pans go in the oven?
