Can 6×9 produce bass?
6×9’s really aren’t meant to have a lot of bass, well not good sounding bass, just crappy “boom boom” bass. You’d be better off with some components. Even at that though, like Ty said, your speakers are not meant to reproduce the bass from music and tones in manners that a subwoofer would.
Are pioneer 6×9 speakers any good?
These speakers are not at the level I suspected Pioneer to deliver. They have poor bass response for 6×9’s which is really the only reason to use this size of speaker. They distort easily too. I’m not super happy with them but guess they will work for now.
