Can you put 29 inch forks on a 27.5 frame?
If you’re doing a 29er fork on a frame intended for 27.5, and you run a 29″ wheel, it will slow the steering down, raise the BB, and slacken the head tube. If you’re running a 27.5 wheel in a 29er fork, regardless of intended rear wheel size, it will make the handling slower and sloppy.
Can a 5 person ride a 29er?

How to fit a 29 inch tire on a 26 inch frame?
A 29 tire is equal to 700x54c. 54mm ~ 2.1 inches. Simply collect the bikes and rims and tires, then attempt the fit. the 26″ fork can be swapped for 700 so it will fit. The rear wont, except on the most spacious overdesigned 26er. You could chop and refit the frame if you can justify the operation. Why? because geometry.
Will 29 inch wheels fit in a scalpel 26er?
No the 29 inch wheels won’t fit the Cannondale frame . You can fit a 27.5 wheel into a Scalpel 26er and it gives you a very sporty ride . It is a little stiff so it’s ideal for xcountry racing but a bit stiff for my age !
Should I get 29er forks or 26er Forks?
What about if you buy some 29er forks and run your 26 wheels for now? That way the geometry will be the same as it would with 29 wheels (just the whole bike will be 1.5 inches lower). If you can get the forks too it will be more rideable.
