Can you visit Batsford House?
The visitor centre – where you’ll find the Cafe, Garden Centre and Gift Shop – is completely free to come and have a look around, enjoy a meal or browse our beautiful gift shop. The only part of Batsford you have to pre-book and pay to go into is the Arboretum.

Unfortunately we don’t allow picnics in the Arboretum, however, there are picnic tables situated next to the coach park to use and you can picnic on any of the grassy areas around the lower car parks – please vacate the car park by 5.15pm, the gate on the main road will lock at 5.30pm. Thank you.

If you’re a current Batsford member you DO NOT need to book a timed slot and can visit any day, just show your membership card on arrival as normal.​ Anyone with you (apart from children under the age of 17) will need to book.
