What are my chances at UPenn?
Admissions Rate: 8.4% For every 100 applicants, only 8 are admitted. This means the school is extremely selective. Meeting their GPA requirements and SAT/ACT requirements is very important to getting past their first round of filters and proving your academic preparation.
Why did I get deferred from Umich?
Deferred from Early Action(RA) to Regulsr Decision(RD) could mean that your application was competitive, but not outstanding as the other EA applications. You can update your application with relevant materials such as the latest transcript, new test scores or honor/award.
Does Umich defer everyone?
UM has an incentive to turn down as many students as they feel they can, rather than leaving them on the hook by deferring or waitlisting. So the short answer to your question is: no, they do not defer everyone who is not accepted. If you’ve been deferred, you should feel happy.
How long do Upenn interviews last?

Does Umich care about legacy?
Legacy status is not a preference in the admissions process but does serve as context – outside of the admissions review – in understanding a student’s interest. Most importantly, it helps us calculate the likelihood of enrollment.
Do all UPenn applicants get interviews?
Typically, more than 90% of applicants are offered an interview, depending on volunteer availability. Our interviewers aren’t admissions officers, but they are excited to learn more about you and to share their Penn experiences. All interviews will be offered virtually for the 2020-2021 application process.
