What does me stand for in ae2?
The main feature of Applied Energistics 2 is the ME Network ( pronounced Emm-Eee and stands for Matter Energy ), which is a set of connected blocks, and cables grouped into a system, where storage, power and functions cooperate between multiple components.
Does ae2 need power?
You’re also going to need power to run your system on. New in this edition, however, you’re going to need four different Press Plates. These are ONLY found in Sky Stone Chests which are only found in the middle of meteors. If you can’t find a meteor on the surface, you may need to dig around a bit to find one.
How do I use me chest?
ME Chests function by accessing a ME Storage Cell supplied to it via a single slot located in the GUI that appears if the top of the chest is right-clicked. The inventory of the cell (stored as data) can then be accessed by right-clicking the chest on any of the other sides of the block if the device is powered.

What is AE Power Minecraft?
The Energy Acceptor is a machine added by the Applied Energistics 2 mod. It accepts energy from other mods and converts it to the mod’s ae energy needed for all mod’s machines to operate (except Inscriber and Charger, that accepts energy of any type).
How much power does an ME system use?
The Controller has a minimal consumption of 6 units/tick which it needs to function. The indicator on its side shows the current power level. When adding more components to your ME Network the consumption of your Controller will become greater. So bigger networks will need more energy than smallers.
How do you use a ME controller?
The multiblock can be almost any shape (there are a few exceptions). ME Controllers can not be connected to each other using any type of ME Cable (or AE machine that transmits channels). Doing so will cause the controllers to turn red and stop functioning….ME Controller (Applied Energistics 2)

Can you use multiple Me drives?
Each drive may hold up to 10 storage items in it at once, and you may have as many drives as you wish on a single network; much the same as their chest counterparts.
What does a storage bus do ae2?
The Storage Bus will function with nearly any inventory block, including ME Interface, Minefactory Reloaded DSUs, Factorization Barrels, JABBA Barrels, and Better Storage Crates. They can also be used to route items passivly into Buildcraft Pipes.
