Will BA extend status again?
To say thank you for all your loyalty and support, we’ve extended Tier status by another 12 months for Members with a Tier Point collection end date between 1 April 2022 and 30 June 2022. We’ve also made it easier to upgrade or retain your status.
Does BA have lifetime Silver?
You cannot get Bronze or Silver lifetime status. Since Gold tier requires 1,500 tier points per membership year, it would take just over 23 years of consistent Gold status to achieve Lifetime Gold (though you do not, ever, have to have held Gold to achieve Lifetime Gold).
How long does my BA status last?
The length of your membership period is the same, regardless of whether you’re Bronze, Silver or Gold status. Blue membership is the base tier and therefore cannot expire.
How many Lifetime tier points do you need for silver?
You need to earn 35,000 tier points. There are no restrictions on where those points come from (BA or partners).
Can BA silver bring guest to lounge?
British Airways Executive Club Silver or Gold Card members or Oneworld Sapphire or Emerald status members who can also bring a guest into the lounge.
Do BA Gold members get upgraded?

How do you get a BA Gold Card?
There are three elite levels in the Executive Club program: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
- For Bronze, either fly BA twice and earn 300 Tier Points, or take 25 BA flights.
- To get Silver, either fly BA four times and earn 600 Tier Points or take 50 BA flights.
- To reach Gold, fly BA four times and earn 1,500 Tier Points.
Can my wife use my BA Silver Card?
A. The Family and Friends list enables Household Account members to redeem for up to five individuals who do not live at the same address, therefore only Household Account members are able to benefit from a Family and Friends list.
Can a Gold use first class check in?
Your Gold membership opens up access to worldwide first class check-in desks and priority boarding — whatever cabin you’re flying in, giving you more time to relax before your flight.

Do Lifetime tier points expire?
As an answer to you question LTPs do not expire within the current program rules but they only count towards lifetime status levels e.g. Lifetime Gold at 35000 LTPs.

Can BA silver use American Airlines lounge?
Do you have a British Airways Silver card? Executive Club Silver status is the equivalent to oneworld Sapphire tier, allowing you to access the oneworld equivalent business class lounges. This includes American Airlines business class lounges, called Admirals Club, across its entire network.
