Is it ever OK to lie interview?

‘Every résumé has at least one lie in it. Not only would fibbing hurt your chances of getting the job if it’s discovered, but it’s also a “sure-fire way to end up with a job you’re poorly prepared to handle.” If and when the interviewer asks you this question, try to pass it off with a joke.

Points to Emphasize

  1. Discuss qualities of the interview and compliment them.
  2. Focus on what was productive or what you liked.
  3. Remain positive.
  4. Rate the interview with your words instead of with a number.

How would you rate yourself as a leader?

Consider yourself as a follower and a leader. Tell your interviewer that you are good at being both—that you can be a follower who can obey rules and instructions, as well as a leader who can guide a group towards a certain goal. Keep it real.

Why do you want to work as an assistant manager?

An assistant manager is a management job and hence interaction with people is necessary. In such a role one can improve their interpersonal skill, adaptability, problem solving and ability to multitask. Since there are many opportunities to learn in this role , the job of an assistant manager is an interesting one.

Are not you overqualified for this position?

I’m not overqualified for this position because I think that I am a fresher so I have to need to learn something. It would be my positive point as I would apply all my knowledge and experience which I have gained from my qualification to perform better in my present job.

Will you tell lie for your company?

I do not lie to advance personal or business goals. There is always an honorable way to succeed and I will always work towards genuinely earned success. As long as I am in accordance with company and legal guidelines, I would do what is best for the company and try to effectively resolve any issues that may arise.
