Beanoland was an area at Chessington based at where Wild Asia currently stands. Based on the Beano comics the area was highly popular when it first open. With Dennis’ Madhouse added in 2001 one year after it opened.
Why is Rameses Revenge closed?
Sadly, Rameses Revenge has reached the end of its operating life. Due to ever-increasing maintenance costs, an opportunity for replacement was seen for breathing new life into the Forbidden Kingdom. Chessington Buzz will, of course, be following developments at the park as we head into the closed season.

Both were entertaining for smaller guests and the chance to get up close to some creepy crawlies is always a highlight for most kids at Halloween! The scariest attraction in the Chessington line up is Vampire; Haunting in the Hollows and it still surprises us quite how scary this can be inside a family theme park.

What happened to slammer at Thorpe Park?
Shortly after the 2017 season started in April, Thorpe Park announced Slammer was closed for the season, likely due to continued technical issues. On May 4, 2017, after 12 years service at the resort, Thorpe Park stated Slammer would be closed permanently and instead would be removed to make way for future attractions.
